NEW MARTINSVILLE, W.Va. — The Wetzel County Assessor's Office is pleased to announce the launch of its newly redesigned website, featuring a comprehensive suite of online services and property information tools for the 2026–2027 tax year.

The new website has been developed to provide residents, landowners, farmers, businesses, and property owners with convenient 24/7 access to essential assessment information and filing services from any computer, tablet, or mobile device.

The website includes a centralized Online Services Portal that provides access to the following tools:

  • Personal Property Filing – Submit annual personal property assessments online.
  • Assessment Search – Search property assessment records throughout Wetzel County.
  • Map Cards – View detailed property maps and parcel information.
  • Levy Rates & Tax Estimates – Calculate estimated property taxes using current levy rates.
  • Farm Use Permits – Access and submit farm use permit applications.
  • Farm Census – Complete required farm census information electronically.
  • Landbook – Browse county landbook records and ownership information.
  • Homestead Exemption – Learn about eligibility and apply for homestead benefits.
